Please thank Alan for his slick professional engagement and demeanour. As the lead officer and line managing those people, I can assure you Alan's engagement profile would be in my top ten employees, showing excellent customer service, attention to detail with a very professional front of house presences. Just to put this into perspective, I work in an organisation with approximately five hundred people in my particular region, with three area managers, sixteen site manager, thirty-six supervisors and the rest are good hard-working staff. Alan then gave a comprehensive and detailed brief on the documentation and then familiarising me with the vehicle, to ensure I was happy and content to be on my way. This made the whole day a lot easier and enabled me to plan the rest of the event without any need to worry. The following day I returned to the Andover branch and actually spoke with Alan, again reassuring, calm and extremely helpful. Alan the original operative took the issue in hand and got to work on the situation using extremely polite and reassuring language, this made me feel I was in good hands. Realising my mistake (a few hours later) I contacted the team in Andover. Unfortunately, I completely got my details wrong and asked for the wrong day actually needing the hire for the Sunday, the 27th Aug 23. On Saturday 26th August 23, my wife and I hired a vehicle from your company.

Damage or repairs deemed as a result of abnormal, deliberate or negligent actsįailure to abide by the terms and conditions of each hire may revoke the insurance cover and thus make the hirer fully liable.
The following are not covered by our Insurance and are chargeable on a case by case basis so the insurance excess and DLW will not apply: The insurance excess and DLW charges differ per vehicle and can also be increased at the discretion of Abacus staff. The insurance excess can be reduced, but not entirely removed, by selecting to pay Damage Limitation Waiver (DLW). Insurance excess is an amount payable by the hirer for each event of damage or theft claimed on the vehicle, or any third party claim made against Abacus. Fully comprehensive insurance is included within the hire charge and arranged for you with a trusted third party insurer.
